MOTION: It was m/s by Arkin/Testa to approve the five-year Citywide Strategic Plan as <br /> recommended with a modification to the Vision statement as follows: "Pleasanton is a <br /> progressive, desirable city where a diverse community honors the city's historic character while <br /> working together to create an excellent quality of life now and for the future." Motion passed by <br /> the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> 18. Continued to future meeting —Approve Lions Wayside and Delucchi Parks conceptual plan and <br /> approve a professional services agreement with Callander Associates Landscape Architecture, <br /> Inc. in the amount of$115,000 to prepare construction documents for the Lions Wayside and <br /> Delucchi Parks Project, CIP No. 06716 <br /> 19. Bi-annual update to the City Council regarding Police Department operations, services and <br /> activities <br /> Recommendation: Receive the Bi-annual update. <br /> City Manager Beaudin introduced Police Chief David Swing who presented the item. <br /> Mayor Brown opened public comment. There being no speakers, Mayor Brown closed public <br /> comment. <br /> Councilmembers provided comments and questions.
