4. Transfer $3,100 from the Public Works Engineering Division FY 2023/24 Operating <br /> Budget to Ken Mercer Sports Park Emergency Electrical Repairs, CIP No. 23374, to <br /> cover FY 2023/24 related design expenditures. <br /> 14. Approve the purchase and outfitting of six Police Utility Hybrid Interceptors in the amount of <br /> $656,894 and approve budget amendments in the Police Vehicle Replacement Fund <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Staff recommends the City Council authorize the City Manager to: <br /> 1. Execute a purchase order with Folsom Lake Ford for six Ford Police Hybrid Utility <br /> Interceptors vehicles in the amount of $451,971, including a 15 percent contingency <br /> 2. Execute a purchase order with Lehr for the outfitting of six patrol vehicles in the <br /> amount of$181,960, as well as a 15 percent contingency <br /> 3. Approve the use of an existing purchase order with Crash Champions in the amount of <br /> $22,963 as well as a 15 percent contingency, to paint the front doors white <br /> 4. Amend the FY 2023/24 Budget for the Police Vehicle Replacement Fund by: <br /> • Increasing the FY 2023/24 vehicle appropriation by $136,684 <br /> • Decreasing the fund balance by $136,684 <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Balch/Arkin to approve the consent calendar as recommended. Motion <br /> passed by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> 15. Presentation of a Proclamation Recognizing October 2023 as Domestic Violence Awareness <br /> Month <br /> Councilmember Nibert presented the proclamation to Andleeb Ali. <br /> 16. Public Comment regarding items not listed on the agenda <br /> Mayor Brown opened public comment. The following individual provided comment: Gerard <br /> Rawson. <br /> The Mayor closed public comment. <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br /> 17. Approve the five-year Citywide Strategic Plan <br /> Recommendation: Approve the five-year Citywide Strategic Plan <br /> Alexa Jeffress, Deputy City Manager, presented the item. <br /> Mayor Brown opened public comment.
