My household and I oppose this <br /> proposal for the following reasons <br /> 1) During the long drought of CA, we readily accepted higher water rates. <br /> 2) We also cut down water usage and accept the cost of relandscaping after the drought was over. <br /> 3) Last year we had record rainfall and all reservoirs are healthy. <br /> Why would City want to increase water rates at this point? Please understand that inflation is already draining <br /> households and this proposed city action is very uncalled for.
