ATTACHMENT 1 RESOLUTION NO. 23- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR THE COMMUNITY GRANT PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO MAKE ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES WHEREAS, on October 11, 2023 the Civic Arts and Youth Commissions held a special joint meeting to discuss potential Community Grant Program modifications to the current application process requirements; and WHEREAS, the Community Grant Program application process has required proof of agency financial documents, agency structure details, and verifications of collaborative efforts; and WHEREAS, there is a desire to formalize these requirements to comply with best financial practices while expending General Funds for the Community Grant Program. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. Agencies requesting funds through the City of Pleasanton Community Grant Program must provide: • Current annual budget for the entire agency, including revenue • Agency Organization chart • List of Board of Directors/Governing Board, with contact information • Board of Directors' authorization to request funding • Community of Character Declaration • Collaboration Agreement Form • Most recent agency audit or tax return • Articles of Incorporation/Bylaws SECTION 2. Related to the Community Grant Program, staff in coordination with commissions will make Community Grant program changes to applications, timeline, reports, funding criteria and evaluation administratively. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on November 7, 2023.
