License to Use: The California State Library reserves a fully paid-up, royalty-free, <br /> nonexclusive, sub-licensable and irrevocable license to reproduce, publish, <br /> prepare derivative works, distribute, or otherwise use, and to authorize third <br /> parties to use, any material received or maintained by Grantee in connection <br /> with this Agreement. This includes intellectual property, with or without third- <br /> party rights. All such usages will be for public library and State governmental <br /> purposes: <br /> a. The copyright in any work developed under this grant, sub-grant, or <br /> contract under this grant or sub-grant; and <br /> b. Any rights of copyright to which a Grantee, sub-grantee, or a contractor <br /> purchases ownership with grant support. <br /> 25. Limitation of Expenditure: Expenditure for all projects must conform to the <br /> grantee's approved budget and with applicable State laws and regulations. The <br /> total amount paid by the California State Library to the Grantee under this <br /> agreement shall not exceed $43,776 and shall be expended/encumbered in <br /> the designated award period. <br /> During the award period, the grantee may find that the awarded budget may <br /> need to be modified. Budget changes, requests for additional funds, or requests <br /> for reductions in award funding must be discussed with the assigned State Library <br /> Grant Monitor and a Grant Award Modification may be required to be <br /> submitted according to the instructions. Approval is by the State Librarian or their <br /> designee. Adjustments should be reported on the next financial report. Any <br /> adjustments in approved budgets must be documented and documentation <br /> retained in project accounts. <br /> 26. Lobbying_ Grantee confirms that the grant funds will not be used for the <br /> purposes of lobbying or otherwise attempting to influence legislation, as those <br /> purposes are defined by the U.S. Internal Revenue Code of 1986. <br /> 27. Non-Discrimination Clause: During this grant period, the Grantee and the <br /> Grantee's contractors, and subcontractors shall not unlawfully discriminate, <br /> harass, or allow harassment against any employee or applicant for employment <br /> because of race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical <br /> disability, mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, <br /> sex, age, sexual orientation, or military and veteran status. Grantee shall insure <br /> that the evaluation and treatment of contractors, employees and applicants for <br /> employment are free from such discrimination and harassment. <br /> Additionally, Grantee, contractors, and subcontractors, if applicable, shall <br /> comply with the provisions of the Fair Employment and Housing Act (Gov. Code <br /> §12900 et seq.), the regulations promulgated thereunder (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, <br />
