We're happy that you extended this item on the agenda,
but only b/c I totally forgot to send our comments at last meeting! We are advocating for Concept A b/c of the increased
viewing area that it presents for summer concerts and that it would face towards both parks. We prefer a more
traditional bandstand instead of the modern aspects presented.True that the Firehouse is a more modern structure
than the historical properties downtown, but its design is not ultra-modern. We also prefer a bathroom in place of the
ice house (sad to lose the landmark) and would like the property developed for the parking lot to the north instead of
just sitting as a dust bowl. The fence should come down at the Firehouse parking lot to better access that trail.
We enjoy being neighbors to Lions Wayside Park. We see that it is enjoyed by many people daily!
Teri &Jeff Pohl
Pleasanton 94566
1
