I would request city to monitor the traffic jams on these stretch of road after the changes during Foothill school morning and closing times.lf needed you can roll back these changes(the blocked yellow zones, not bike lanes), as they will be obstructing even their local residents from coming out if there is emergency, Please make bike lanes narrower if you need to retain space for 2 cars like before. Second issue is that you have put permanent bike lanes on Las Positas near Hart school. The issue is going towards Hopyard, you have given sudden right angle turns on Coronado lane etc. This is due to the permanent blocking by bike lanes. This sudden right turn is difficult for car drivers. You can easily give a dotted lane next to right turn, to allow cars to gradually go right and then turn. That is done normally as you can see going on Tassagara and right turn on Dublin Blvd. There is a dedicated bike lane on Tassagara, but it is broken at the end to facilitate right turn. Pleasanton population is increasing and with lots more housing coming, we need wider roads to accommodate cars. Kindly look into this to resolve. Thanks, Sachin On Wednesday.. I see some driving area is colored green on that side and will cause jam. There is already a shared bike lane on that side.
