<br /> Page 2 of 10 <br /> <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION: (300-word limit) <br />Please indicate project phase (Planning, PE, ENV, ROW, CON, O&M) <br /> <br />The City of Pleasanton will use STIP funds towards construction. <br /> <br />The interchange of 680 and Sunol Blvd will be modified by the addition of 3 new traffic <br />signals at the on/off ramps and at Castlewood Drive, the addition of 2 new on ramp lanes <br />(1 multipurpose and 1 high Occupancy lane), new Class IV protected bicycle facilities on <br />Sunol Blvd from Arlington Road through the interchange to Castlewood Dr., widening of the <br />I-680 bridge over Sunol Blvd to accommodate lane acceleration, sound walls, and lane <br />restriping. The project completed the PSR-PDS phase in 2020. The PA&ED phase <br />resulted in a CEQA IS/MND document. Caltrans is reviewing the second administrative <br />final IS/MND document.
