As the designs for the bandstand move forward, we would greatly appreciate being included in
conversations regarding the sound system options and how to effectively provide sound during
Concerts in the Park to Delucchi Park. Historically, the sound systems for Concerts in the Park
are provided by the individual bands with the PDA providing each band with a small stipend to
help cover these costs. Any opportunity to integrate a sound system with Bluetooth capabilities
into the bandstand and throughout the park would be a tremendous improvement to the
Concert in the Park experience and also help mitigate noise for our residential neighbors.
Lions Wayside and Delucchi Parks are well-used and loved parks, a place where the community
gathers, where families play, where celebrations are held. We are excited to see this project
move forward and, again, truly appreciate the opportunity to be a part of the conversation.
Thank you for your continued support of Downtown Pleasanton.
Best regards,
06WA& Otte i.
Laura Brooks
Interim Executive Director
Pleasanton Downtown Association
