CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br /> September 5, 2023 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Brown called the meeting of the City Council to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. from the Remillard <br /> Conference Room at the Operations Services Center located at 3333 Busch Road. <br /> Councilmember Arkin provided opening remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Absent: None <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mayor Brown pulled item 1 from the consent calendar for further discussion. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> City Manager <br /> 1. MOVED TO PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS -Approve appointment of the 2024 <br /> advisory board for the Downtown Pleasanton Business Improvement District <br /> 2. Approve designation of voting delegates for the 2023 California Cities Annual Conference <br /> Recommendation: Designate Councilmember Valerie Arkin as the City's voting delegate and <br /> Councilmember Julie Testa as the alternate to the 2023 CalCities conference. <br /> Community Development <br /> 3. Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> Recommendation: Receive report. <br /> Public Works <br /> 4. Approve the purchase of an Enforcer 1500 GPM Pumper Type 1 Fire Engine, authorize the <br /> execution and delivery of an equipment lease/purchase agreement with JPMorgan Chase Bank, <br /> N.A., and authorize the City Manager to execute related documents and actions necessary to <br /> complete the lease/purchase financing in an amount up to $1,389,166 <br /> Recommendation: <br /> 1. Approve the purchase of an Enforcer 1500 GPM Pumper Type 1 Fire Engine from GSFA in <br /> the amount of$1,237,932 which includes a 10 percent contingency <br /> 2. Authorize the execution and delivery of an equipment lease/purchase agreement with <br /> JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. <br /> 3. Authorize the City Manager to execute related documents and actions necessary to <br /> complete the lease/purchase financing in an amount up to $1,389,166 including $1,237,932 <br /> in principal and $151,234 in interest. <br />
