ATTACHMENT 1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br />APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON AND THE PLEASANTON POLICE OFFICERS' ASSOCIATION FOR <br />THE TERM OF JUNE 1, 2023 THROUGH MAY 31, 2026 <br />WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the <br />Pleasanton Police Officers' Association expired on May 31, 2023; and <br />WHEREAS, representatives from the City of Pleasanton have met and conferred with <br />representatives of Pleasanton Police Officers' Association and prepared a successor agreement <br />covering the period June 1, 2023 through May 31, 2026. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />SECTION 1. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the Memorandum of <br />Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Police Officers' Association <br />for the term commencing June 1, 2023 through May 31, 2026. <br />SECTION 2. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the <br />book of original resolutions. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br />a regular meeting held on October 3, 2023. <br />I, Jocelyn Kwong, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br />resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on October 3, 2023, by the <br />following vote: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Jocelyn Kwong, City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Daniel G.
