2. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a professional services agreement with
<br /> Pakpour Consulting Group, Inc. for civil engineering services for the design of 1 ,600 linear
<br /> feet of 18-inch water main on Bernal Avenue for the Bernal Avenue 18-Inch Potable Main
<br /> (F-4 Line) Project, CIP No. 24172, in the amount of$121,216.
<br /> 3. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a professional services agreement with
<br /> Mark Thomas & Company, Inc. for civil engineering services for the design of 4,500 linear
<br /> feet of 20-inch water main on Sunol Boulevard for the Sunol Boulevard 20-Inch Potable
<br /> Water Main (F-7 Line) Project, CIP No. 24173, in the amount of$231,906.
<br /> 4. Authorize the City Manager to approve and execute contract amendment(s) for a design
<br /> project contingency amount of$100,000 (approximately 10 percent of the design
<br /> professional services agreements) for unforeseen yet necessary related work.
<br /> 5. Transfer $180,426 from the Annual Water Distribution System Improvements, CIP No.
<br /> 23183, to the Turnout 4 Replacement and Booster Station and Stoneridge Drive 24-Inch
<br /> Potable Water Main (F-1 Line) Project, CIP No. 24171, to fund the design, including
<br /> contingency.
<br /> 6. Transfer $551,061 from the Annual Water Distribution System Improvements, CIP No.
<br /> 24183, to the Turnout 4 Replacement and Booster Station and Stoneridge Drive 24-Inch
<br /> Potable Water Main (F-1 Line) Project, CIP No. 24171, to fund the design, including
<br /> contingency.
<br /> 7. Transfer $133,000 from the Annual Water Distribution System Improvements, CIP No.
<br /> 24183, to the Bernal Avenue 18-Inch Potable Water Main (F-4 Line) Project, CIP No. 24172,
<br /> to fund the design, including contingency.
<br /> 8. Transfer $255,000 from the Annual Water Distribution System Improvements, CIP No.
<br /> 24183, to the Sunol Boulevard 20-Inch Potable Water Main (F-7 Line) Project, CIP No.
<br /> 24173, to fund the design, including contingency.
<br /> 17. Approve an amendment to the professional services agreement with HMH Engineers in the
<br /> amount of$83,400 for a total not-to-exceed amount of$444,600 for additional design services for
<br /> the second westbound left-turn lane on Bernal Avenue at First Street and Sunol Boulevard
<br /> project, CIP No. 17556 *Councilmember Testa recused
<br /> Recommendation:
<br /> 1. Approve the fourth amendment to the professional services agreement with HMH in the not-
<br /> to-exceed amount of$83,400 (an increase in the contract amount from $361,200 to
<br /> $444,600) to complete the design and prepare biddable construction documents and to
<br /> extend the term of the agreement to December 31, 2024.
<br /> 2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the amendment to the professional services
<br /> agreement.

<br /> of Councilmember Testa on item 17. Motion passed by the following vote:
