Scope of Work <br /> Preparation of Plans,Specifications and Estimates <br /> Sunol Boulevard/I-680 Improvements Project <br /> August 21,2023 <br /> 7.0 ASSUMPTIONS <br /> Detailed assumptions are presented in the text of this document. The following <br /> summarizes some of the key assumptions made in developing an estimate of labor <br /> hours and schedule. <br /> WORK TO BE PERFORMED BY OTHERS <br /> AECOM will provide information in support of the following work performed by <br /> others: <br /> • Right-of-entries and permits-to-enter with private property owners. (AECOM <br /> will prepare the permit application for the City's signatures.) <br /> • Utility relocation design: telephone, electrical, gas, oil, cable lines, and fiber <br /> optic facilities. (AECOM will prepare the Composite Utility Drawings (joint <br /> trench plans.) <br /> • Right of Way services, including appraisals, appraisal reviews, property <br /> acquisitions, and relocation & planning assistance, and sign/approve R/W <br /> Certification <br /> • Advertise, award and administer (AAA)process for construction(by the City) <br /> Pro i ect Limits <br /> • Along I-680 from PM R14.8/R15.5 <br /> • Along Sunol Boulevard from Arlington Drive to Castlewood Drive <br /> Proiect Management <br /> • Project management activities for the project are provided for a 24-month period <br /> starting from Notice to Proceed. <br /> • The PS&E Submittals will include 65%, 95%, 100% and Final. A 35% Submittal <br /> is not required. <br /> • This scope assumes a single highway construction bid package. <br /> • AECOM will assist the City in two (2) public outreach meetings. It is assumed <br /> that meeting will be facilitated by the City. <br /> Richt of Entry <br /> • Encroachment permit applications to perform design activities within State and <br /> the City right of way will be prepared by AECOM for the City's signature. <br /> AECOM will not be responsible for permit application fees. All permits fees will <br /> be paid by the City. <br /> Materials and Information relied upon and provided by others <br /> • Relevant data from previous/ongoing studies in the project area <br /> • Utility record drawings <br /> • As-built construction drawings <br /> • Right-of-way record maps <br /> Page 39 of 42 <br />
