Scope of Work <br /> Preparation of Plans,Specifications and Estimates <br /> Sunol Boulevard/I-680 Improvements Project <br /> August 21,2023 <br /> Task 6.2 Resident Engineer's File <br /> AECOM will update the Resident Engineer's File, to add items required for highway <br /> work and will update structure design information, if required. <br /> Task 6.3 Survey File <br /> AECOM will prepare a survey file and submit it to Caltrans Project Development and the <br /> City. The Survey File submittal will conform to Caltrans' Project Development Activities <br /> Guide and include: <br /> • Control traverses and bench circuits used to design the project <br /> • Alignment traverses of all Control lines <br /> • Other structures (i.e. retaining wall) traverses with coordinates on layout lines <br /> • Grid grades with data for: <br /> o Slope stakes <br /> o Finish Grade stakes <br /> o Contour grading stakes <br /> • Design Cross Sections <br /> • Drainage notes including: <br /> o Coordinates of intersection of center of drainage structure and curb flowline. <br /> o Drainage structure system number, item letter, station and offset. <br /> Task 6 Deliverables <br /> • Bid Documents <br /> • Resident Engineer's File Updates <br /> • Survey File <br /> • Final PS&E Forms, if changed <br /> • Response to 100%PS&E Comments <br /> TASK 7 RIGHT OF WAY SUPPORT <br /> AECOM will provide Right of Way engineering support for the Project. Caltrans defines <br /> Right of Way as including utilities, roadway right of way, and railroad. AECOM will <br /> provide the following Right of Way support tasks. <br /> Task 7.1 Utility Coordination and Encroachment Permit Variance Request <br /> AECOM will be responsible for interfacing utility design coordination with Caltrans' <br /> Right-of-Way Utility Coordinator and Right-of-Way Project Coordinator, and the City. <br /> This will include the following activities: <br /> • Communicate with Caltrans' Right-of-Way Utility Coordinator and Right-of-Way <br /> Project Coordinator to identify utility issues(relocation, notices, etc.). <br /> • Communicate with Caltrans Right-of-Way Utility Coordinator and Right-of-Way <br /> Project Coordinator for R/W certification. <br /> Page 26 of 42 <br />
