EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> ACCOUNT MANAGER/SUPPORT STAFF <br /> Contractor shall provide a dedicated and competent account manager who shall be <br /> responsible for the City account/contract. The account manager shall receive all orders <br /> from the City and shall be the primary contact for all issues regarding Bidder's response <br /> to this RFP and any contract which may arise pursuant to this RFP. <br /> Contractor shall also provide adequate, competent support staff that shall be able to <br /> service the City during normal working hours, Monday through Friday, and during off- <br /> hour emergency operations. Such representative(s) shall be knowledgeable about the <br /> contract, services/products offered and able to identify and resolve quickly any issues <br /> including but not limited to order and invoicing problems. <br /> At no added expense to the City, Contractor shall designate representatives in the <br /> organization, one of whom shall be available at all times to the City for advice. This <br /> service may consist of cost estimates for street lighting repairs, accident damage <br /> repairs, and replacement of obsolete or deteriorated equipment, explanations of <br /> functional capabilities recommendations on anticipated changes in the street lighting <br /> systems. <br /> ROUTINE MAINTENANCE — Monthly Basis Pay Items 1&2 <br /> In general, routine maintenance consists of replacing defective parts of streetlights LED, <br /> streetlights halogen bulb, park pathway lights, and parking lot lights. Contractor shall <br /> repair, replace, or otherwise render in good working order any and all defective parts of <br /> streetlights, parking lot lights and pathway lights as part of the flat rate monthly cost. <br /> Contractor shall furnish all tools, equipment, apparatus, facilities, labor, services, and <br /> materials, and perform all work necessary to maintain in good workmanlike manner all <br /> the lights owned by the City and Hacienda Business Park. <br /> Routine maintenance repair of a streetlight, parking lot or pathway light consists of <br /> furnishing a qualified lighting maintenance repair person (or persons) and a service <br /> vehicle, removing, and replacing any one or combination of lamp, lens, photocell, ballast, <br /> or igniter, etc. Removing and replacing damaged or missing pole numbers at a height of <br /> not less than 8 feet. Pole numbers to be mounted vertically on the street side of the pole <br /> (please refer to the City of Pleasanton Standard Specifications and Details for specific <br /> material and installation). <br /> The normal response time to repair a malfunctioning or otherwise non-operating <br /> streetlight, parking lot or pathway light shall be no less than five (5) working days. It is <br /> understood and agreed that failure on part of the Contractor to respond within five (5) <br /> days, the Contractor agrees to pay to the City, not as a penalty but as liquidated <br />
