THE CITY OF <br /> °°°° -•• °°°°°°° ..;::r 6 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> PLEASANTON, <br /> August 15, 2023 <br /> Community Development <br /> TITLE: APPROVE AN AMENDMENT TO THE MEMORANDUM OF <br /> UNDERSTANDING WITH THE CITY OF LIVERMORE FOR <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW OF THE CDBG-FUNDED TRI-VALLEY <br /> HAVEN EMERGENCY SHELTER REBUILD PROJECT TO ADD THE CITY <br /> OF DUBLIN AND THE COUNTY OF ALAMEDA AS COOPERATING <br /> ENTITIES <br /> SUMMARY <br /> On May 16, 2023, the Cities of Livermore and Pleasanton executed a Memorandum of <br /> Understanding (MOU), with the City of Livermore as lead agency for a joint <br /> environmental review for the Tri-Valley Haven's Emergency Shelter Rebuild Project. <br /> The project is subject to federal environmental regulations as federal Community <br /> Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds have been allocated to the project. The MOU <br /> proposes to add the County of Alameda and the City of Dublin as cooperating entities. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve the Amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding to add the County of <br /> Alameda and the City of Dublin as cooperating agency entities and authorize the City <br /> Manager to execute the Amendment. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The Amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding for Environmental Review for <br /> the Tri-Valley Haven's Emergency Shelter Rebuild Project stipulates that the $19,620 <br /> cost for the environmental review consultant will be equally shared among the Cities of <br /> Dublin, Livermore, and Pleasanton.
