CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br /> June 6, 2023 <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Brown called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. from the <br /> Council Chamber located at 200 Old Bernal Avenue. <br /> Councilmember Arkin provided opening remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Absent: None <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Staff requested to continue item 22 to a future meeting date, to be determined. <br /> Councilmember Arkin requested to pull item 11 from the Consent Calendar for further discussion. Item <br /> 11 moved to item 23 on the agenda. <br /> Councilmember Balch requested to pull item 1 from the Consent Calendar for further discussion. Item 1 <br /> moved to item 24 on the agenda. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> City Manager <br /> 1. Moved to item 24 (item continued from May 16, 2023) — Consider adopting a resolution to <br /> support 'Our Neighborhood Voices' initiative draft which provides that local land use and zoning <br /> laws override conflicting state laws <br /> 2. Approve meeting minutes of May 2, May 16, and May 23, 2023 <br /> Recommendation: Approve meeting minutes of May 2, May 16, and May 23, 2023 <br /> Community Development <br /> 3. Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> Recommendation: Approve the actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission. <br /> 4. Adopt a resolution authorizing an application with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission for <br /> allocation of $493,513 in Transportation Development Act Article 3 funds for the Annual Bicycle <br /> and Pedestrian Related Improvements at Various Locations project and approve budget <br /> amendment in the TDA Grant Fund <br />
