Years of Service City's Contribution <br /> 10 75% <br /> 15 80% <br /> 20 90% <br /> 25+years of service 100% <br /> In accordance with the Public Employees' Pension Reform Act of 2013 <br /> (PEPRA), employees hired on/after January 1, 2013 and considered "new <br /> members" by CalPERS will have a vesting schedule equal to the vesting <br /> schedule of miscellaneous employees. <br /> 2. Disability Retirement <br /> For all employees who are hired on or after January 21, 2009 and retire via <br /> disability retirement, the City shall pay a percentage of the City's monthly <br /> contribution toward the premium for single coverage in accordance with the <br /> schedule set forth below: <br /> Years of Service City's Contribution <br /> 10 20% <br /> 11 25% <br /> 12 30% <br /> 13 35% <br /> 14 40% <br /> 15 45% <br /> 16 48% <br /> 17 51% <br /> 18 54% <br /> 19 57% <br /> 20 80% <br /> 21 84% <br /> 22 88% <br /> 23 92% <br /> 24 96% <br /> 25+years of service 100% <br /> 3. Public Employee Pension Reform Act(2013) <br /> In accordance with PEPRA, employees hired on or after January 1, 2013 and <br /> considered "new members" by CalPERS will have a vesting schedule equal to <br /> the vesting schedule of miscellaneous employees. <br /> 4. City Contributions <br /> The City's contribution for retiree medical coverage is established as the same <br /> dollar contribution paid for active employees at the single rate of the lowest cost <br /> HMO Plan early retiree plan. <br /> 5. Reimbursement for non-City Plans <br /> In the event that a retiree obtains medical coverage through a plan not offered <br /> through the City of Pleasanton, the City will reimburse the retiree up to the <br /> 4894-5387-2224 v2 23 <br />
