04.20.23 <br />Page 1 of 6 <br />AoPS Academy Statement of Proposed Use and Operations <br />Modification to 2019 CUP <br />Location: <br />5200 Franklin Drive, Suite 110 <br />Pleasanton, CA 94588 <br />Approvals <br />Conditional Use Permit issued April 24, 2019 <br />Tenant Suite: <br />AoPS occupies a 5,523 SF suite in a 33,800 SF building in the Center Park office park. <br />Use: <br />After-school enrichment tutoring for students in grades 1-12 (ages 6 to 18). Subjects include math, <br />language arts, and science, and other specialty curriculum. <br />Number of Classrooms, Students and Employees <br />Academic Year <br />8 classrooms <br />Maximum of 15 students per class. <br />Maximum of 12 employees (10 teachers and 2 full-time staff) <br />Maximum occupancy is 132 (students + staff) <br />Average enrollment is 12 students per class. <br />Summer Session <br />8 classrooms <br />Maximum of 14 students per class. <br />Maximum of 10 employees (8 teachers and 2 full-time staff) <br />Maximum occupancy is 122 (students + staff) <br />Average enrollment is 9 students per class. <br />Class Schedule Overview <br />Academic Year Schedule (Late August to late May) <br />Typical Daily Classes <br />Monday - Friday: 3:45 PM 8:30 PM <br />Saturday/Sunday: 10:15 AM 7:00 PM <br />Each class is 1 hour and 45 minutes long. <br />Class starts will be staggered in at least 15-minute increments to minimize overlap and to <br />facilitate drop-offs and pick-ups. <br />For each classroom in use, we reserve at least 30 minutes between the end of one class <br />and the start of the next to facilitate smooth traffic flow in and out of the building and site.
