Concurrently as CFO, I have been CEO of a high tech company for 10 years. In the six startups I have been part of, <br /> I have experienced and learned much about managing finances in difficult economic times and what it means to seek <br /> and have enough funding to run a business. <br /> I have been part of one company that was sold and another that went public. I must relate to you that I also worked as <br /> CFO for a company that had a "name brand CEO". He had a pedigree and a book that was written about him about <br /> ,..;Going Public The Entrepreneurial Dream", but that company went bankrupt in less than five years after burning tens of <br /> iillions of venture capital. It was not a pretty picture and it taught me that pedigree does not necessarily equate to <br /> success. <br /> 1 <br />
