This led me to see how the City's engagement, or not, and lack of budget planning for AL and the East Pleasanton area could have negative implications for residents of The Village and the rest of the City. • I have studied the budget proposal in detail. I do not agree with the assumptions, priority setting, and allocation of operating and capital funds because it does not address the major issues evident on the east side that will also affect the rest of Pleasanton very soon. Due to AL and other anticipated developments already in the works, a two-year barely breakeven budget (using reserve funds to 1
