We had hoped to hear from one of them.
We have heard nothing regarding this very important issue, development of a new Livermore
Airport Plan.
When we moved to Pleasanton 30 years ago, the airport was small with small aircraft. Now in the
last 10 years, the airport traffic pattern flipped, moving the bulk to Pleasanton. Now jets are
regularly passing over our house (not 3 per week, but sometimes 3 per day). We regularly report
noise from those planes operating outside approved business hours via the Airport Hot Line. We
have heard nothing about our concerns.
Our concern, as well as that of the over 7,000 people who signed the airport petition and the over
"'.00 comments received regarding this new policy, is for the safety of our neighborhood and all
those living in the Tri-Valley including the impacts of noise, air pollution, and possible accidents.
1
