e. Scheduled Project Work. Non-routine scheduled project work where Contractor <br /> submits a quotation to the City will be compensated on a time and materials, unit price <br /> and/or lump sum basis in accordance with the submitted quotation as well as the actual <br /> pay quantities achieved(i.e.,amount of waste collected,number of hours worked etc.). <br /> Should Contractor discover that the cost of time and materials, will exceed the quoted <br /> amount by 120%, Contractor must notify and provide additional information for the <br /> reason of the excess cost to the City's Program Manager, who will review and provide <br /> authorization to continue said project. <br /> E. Safety Trainina/Procedures <br /> Contractor must provide a copy of its safety training program that includes, but are not <br /> limited to,training staff on hazardous material, Safety Data Sheets,safety procedures,and <br /> safe work practices.This is required before Contractor can begin performing its services. <br /> F. Traffic Control. The Contractor is required to provide all safety cones, sign boards, <br /> arrow boards and other appropriate measures and equipment as prescribed by the <br /> Department of Transportation Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices(MUTCD) <br /> for traffic control. <br /> G. Vehicle/Uniforms/Equipment <br /> 1. As-needed vehicle access will be discussed in advance and routes will be determined <br /> by City staff based upon the location of the job site for waste removal and/or site <br /> decontamination. <br /> 2. All Vehicles utilized by the contractor shall have wording which clearly identifies <br /> the contractor/company. <br /> 3. All employees on site are to wear clothing which clearly identifies the <br /> contractor/company. <br /> 4. Transportation of equipment on public streets shall comply with California State <br /> Vehicle Code with Department of Transportation, and under the guidance of <br /> California Environmental Protection Agency Department of Toxic Substances <br /> Control (DTSC). <br />
