I'm writing in response to the Pleasanton Weekly's May 11th article"Around the Valley:Will
Pleasanton council be fiscally responsible and prioritize reliable water supply?". If this article is true, I strongly appeal
that our city leaders prioritize our city's critical infrastructure like water and roads are well maintained and functioning
instead of projects that can be easily deferred (new$6 million skate park, $4.6 million historic home renovation, etc.)as
well as safety.
One specific stretch of road that has been in dire need of repair is the stretch of W. Las Positas between Stoneridge and
Hopyard. This stretch of road has been in disrepair for several years. When will this be fixed? I have a hard time
understanding money going for other projects when this stretch of road has been in major disrepair for the last several
years. Have any of you driven down this stretch of road recently?
What is happening to the safety within our city? My wife and I usually take a walk after work that loops Creekside Park,
Owens Plaza Park, Iron Horse Trail, Galloway Apartments, 24 Hour Fitness, and Roche. We saw the Alameda County
