83 City of Pleasanton Capital Improvement Program • FY 2023/24 - FY 2026/27 <br />The City’s firearm range is temporarily closed due to <br />safety concerns. The facility has not been updated in <br />the last fifteen years and the existing equipment and <br />bullet trap is not consistent with accepted standards. <br />The existing dirt berms contain metallic buildup that <br />needs to be removed. Repairs to the range are es- <br />sential due to the state mandates for range qual- <br />ification and continuous training requirements for <br />police officers. <br />Police Department Training Facility Repairs <br />Project Number: 22482 <br />Facilities <br />This project includes the design and construction of <br />necessary repairs and upgrades to the City of Pleas- <br />anton’s firearms range.
