City of Pleasanton Capital Improvement Program • FY 2023/24 - FY 2026/27 42 <br />The Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program is designed <br />to provide consistent, citywide policies to neighbor- <br />hood traffic management and ensure equitable and <br />effective solutions to a variety of traffic concerns ex- <br />pressed by local residents. The program’s intent is to <br />treat similar traffic problems equally, while recognizing <br />the differences in individual resident levels of concern <br />and traffic tolerances. The City has also initiated an <br />Expedited Speed Lump Program that is designed to <br />provide quick installation of speed lumps without the <br />extensive and time-consuming process required with <br />the full Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program. <br />Annual Neighborhood Traffic Calming Devices <br />Project Number: 24555 <br />Transportation <br />This annual project will install traffic calming measures <br />on neighborhood streets. Neighborhoods are selected <br />on an annual basis using the traffic calming priority <br />ranking methodology.
