Page 3 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br /> Section 4: Recommends that the City Council state that the Housing Element incorporates <br />the City’s goals, quantifiable objectives, and policies to affirmatively further fair <br />housing and the maintenance, preservation, improvement and development of <br />housing per Government Code Section 65583(b). <br /> <br />Section 5: The Planning Commission recommends that the City Council adopt the Land Use <br />Element (Attachment 1) and Housing Element (Attachment 2) that has been <br />modified in response to the findings of the Department of Housing and <br />Community Development as being in substantial compliance with the <br />requirements of State Housing Element Law, as previously enumerated in <br />Attachment 1B to Resolution 2023-02. <br /> <br />Section 6: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton at a <br />regular meeting held on May 10, 2023, by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSTAIN: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />_____________________________ ______________________________ <br />Melinda Denis Brandon Pace <br />Secretary, Planning Commission Chair <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> <br />____________________________________ <br />Larissa Seto <br />Assistant City Attorney
