<br />Planning Commission Minutes Page 3 of 4 January 11, 2023 <br />SECOND MOTION: It was m/s by Morgan/Gaidos to modify Item 4b to increase the minimum density of <br />Areas 9 Metro 580, and 29 Oracle, from 45 to 50 du/ac. Motion passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Commissioners Gaidos, Mohan, Morgan, and Pace <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioner Jain <br /> <br />THIRD MOTION: It was m/s by Morgan/Pace to modify Item 4b to reinstate Area 12 Pimlico North, to <br />the sites list of the Housing Element, subject to staff’s ability to secure property owners’ unanimous <br />interest before the special meeting of the City Council on January 26, 2023. Motion passed by the <br />following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Commissioners Gaidos, Mohan, Morgan, and Pace <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioner Jain <br /> <br />FOURTH MOTION: It was m/s by Morgan/Gaidos to modify Item 4b to reduce the density of Area 18 <br />Valley Plaza, from 30-40 du/ac to 15-25 du/ac. Motion passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Commissioners Gaidos, Morgan, and Pace <br />Noes: Commissioner Mohan <br />Absent: Commissioner Jain <br /> <br />FIFTH MOTION: It was m/s by Morgan/Mohan to modify Item 4b to increase the density of Area 25 <br />Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD), from eight to 12 du/ac to eight to 13 du/ac (permitting up to <br />139 units), subject to PUSD’s ability to demonstrate a detailed plan regarding feasibility of their <br />proposal to secure affordable housing for teachers during the special meeting of the City Council on <br />January 26, 2023. Motion passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Commissioners Gaidos, Mohan, Morgan, and Pace <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioner Jain <br /> <br />SIXTH MOTION: It was m/s by Pace/Gaidos to approve Item 4b with modifications and conditions set <br />forth by prior motions. Motion passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Commissioners Gaidos, Mohan, Morgan, and Pace <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioner Jain <br /> <br />SEVENTH MOTION: It was m/s by Pace/Mohan to approve Item 4c with modifications set forth by prior <br />motions. P20-0908, Objective Design Standards - Review, consider, and recommend adopting Objective <br />Design Standards for Housing Sites; and Objective Design Standards for Multifamily Housing in <br />Residential-Multifamily (R-M), Central Commercial (C-C) and Mixed Use (M-U) Zoning Districts. <br /> <br />Recommendation: Adopt Resolution PC-2023-4 recommending the City Council adopt Objective <br />Design Standards for qualifying housing developments.
