Christina Casha
From: Ellen Holmgren
Sent: Monday, March 20, 2023 10:39 AM
To: Bonnie Shamblin; Mayor and City Council
Cc: Pleasanton City Clerk; Steve Kirkpatrick; Ellen Clark
Subject: RE: Alamo Trail
Dear Bonnie Shamblin,
Thank you for your email regarding Item 14 on the City Council Meeting Agenda for March 21, 2023.
This email acknowledges receipt of your email to the Mayor and City Council, the City Manager, and City staff.
Thank you again for your interest in the City of Pleasanton.
Regards,
Ellen Holmgren, Administrative Assistant
City of Pleasanton
-----Original Message-----
From: Bonnie Shamblin _
Sent: Monday, March 20, Zuz3 7:31 AM
To: Mayor and City Council<citycouncil@cityofpleasantonca.gov>
Subject: Alamo Trail
*** [EXTERNAL]This message comes from an external organization. Exercise caution when opening attachments or
clicking links, especially from unknown senders. ***
Good morning all,
I am writing to ask that you consider the Alamo Trail project as a priority on Tuesday. I have ridden this trail, gravel is
not the best option for a street bicycle to ride and the alternative will be the Johnson/Stoneridge road area which is not
planning any bike lanes. The traffic there is already tricky and once Costco is built that will only get worse and more
dangerous for bicycles.
The entire trail needs to be paved. The City needs to continue its commitment to bicyclists and agree to prioritize the
paving of the trail. Thank you.
Bonnie Shamblin
1
