at which the general public may discuss and ask questions regarding the annual military equipment report and the law <br /> enforcement agency's funding, acquisition, or use of military equipment. <br /> The City has not complied with this section. <br /> This Wednesday, March 8, a community engagement meeting is being held regarding the annual report. <br /> This meeting was not well publicized. <br /> I found out about this meeting only because I subscribe to the City's e-mail of events (monthly e-newsletter) <br /> The meeting is not posted on the City's website <br /> The meeting is not on the City's calendar <br /> The meeting is not on the PPD website <br /> The meeting was not noticed in the Pleasanton Weekly <br /> The meeting was not posted in the display cabinets outside the entry doors to the Council Chambers <br /> The only (which I could find) place where the meeting is mentioned is a tweet put out by the PPD. <br /> While the term "well publicized" is subjective, it would be hard to argue that the March 8 meeting was "well publicized" <br /> I look forward to hearing how the City plans to remedy the current non-compliance. <br /> John Bauer <br /> South Pleasanton <br /> 2 <br />
