EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF SERVICES Scope of Services Maintenance of three swimming pools and pool equipment including but not limited to Mechanical upkeep, operation, circulation,disinfection, water clarity, filters,pool heating systems,pumps, chemical treatment, testing, and ordering, storage and shipment of cleaning materials. This full-service contract will ensure the pools and associated equipment receive the proper maintenance. The qualified company must ensure proper pool temperatures and cleanliness set by the Support Services Staff. Custodial duties associated with pool mechanical areas are to be part of this contract. Standards Contractor shall maintain all pool and equipment to the standards set forth by all Authorities Having Jurisdiction i.e.: Alameda County Health Department, California Department of Occupational Health and Safety Administration(Cal OSHA)and the Livermore Pleasanton Fire Department. The awarded contractor shall monitor all equipment and provide professional level of maintenance requested in this document. The Agreement will include all normal ongoing maintenance on all the swimming pools and water slide and associated pool equipment, distribution piping, pumps, heaters, pool lighting, pool drains(VGB), controls, filters and backwash devices. Any and all repairs shall be noted in the Operations"Log Book"for the affected pool along with a detailed description of the work performed. Support Services Division shall be notified immediately. TASKS: Pool Cleaning - Weekly The cleaning of the three pools shall be done as needed (multiple times a week depending on the season)to ensure the water is free from debris and leaves, at all times when the pools are scheduled to be in service. Vacuuming of the pools shall be scheduled as not to interfere with programs scheduled in the pools with Recreation Aquatic staff. Each pool shall be completely brushed and vacuumed at a minimum of once a week. The contractor shall adjust the periodicity of the cleaning to ensure the water meets the cleanliness standards of the Support Services Division at all times of scheduled use.
