Stoneridge Mall Framework Meeting Summary <br /> Joint Planning Commission and Community Meeting, via Zoom <br /> September 26, 2022 <br /> What key word or short phrase best captures your vision for the future of Stoneridge <br /> Mall? <br /> safety <br /> fun retail <br /> .- a.. erxertoirwiq $ family friendly , TJ <br /> ' downtown dsney - <br /> .a <br /> 63 <br /> Breakout Rooms <br /> Eight virtual breakout rooms were facilitated,which allowed approximately 12-15 attendees in each room, in <br /> addition to project team facilitators and notetakers. Members of the Planning Commission and City Council <br /> in attendance of the meeting were rotated throughout the breakout rooms to view all conversations. Miro, <br /> an online collaborative visualization software,was used to encourage discussion, pose the same questions <br /> across all breakout rooms,and conduct live notetaking that was visible to breakout room participants. Three <br /> questions were asked to prompt the conversation, as well as provide an opportunity for additional <br /> discussion items: <br /> Question One: <br /> Does the Mall have a well defined point of entry today?If so, where is it? <br /> Where do you envision primary and secondary entrances to the Mall in the future? <br /> Question Two: <br /> What types of elements would you like to prioritize:pedestrian plaza, green space, "Main Street" <br /> with ground floor shops, multi-use path around Stoneridge Mall Road, interior mall and/or other <br /> elements? <br /> Question Three: <br /> Where would you place these elements? <br /> Each breakout room had Miro boards containing maps of the mall and visuals to demonstrate the <br /> placemaking concepts being discussed. The project team posted comments via virtual sticky notes to each <br /> Miro board. A summary of this discussion is below(Miro boards are attached as Exhibit B). <br />
