It includes 1)a summary of the input <br /> received at the December 8 Community Meeting;2)additional public comments received since <br /> publication of the Agenda Report and 3) staffs recommendations with respect to the Framework. <br /> 1. Summary of December 8 Community Meeting <br /> As the Planning Commission and City Council are aware,the City hosted a fully virtual <br /> Community Meeting on Thursday,December 8. Due to the publication timing of the agenda <br /> report for this Joint Meeting overlapping with the Community Meeting,a summary of the <br /> feedback received from attendees is being provided in this supplemental memo. <br /> The focus of the Community Meeting was to review and request feedback on the draft concept <br /> scenarios,with emphasis on open space concepts,circulation,design,and land use. <br /> Approximately 50 members of the public attended the Community Meeting, in addition to some <br /> Stoneridge Mall property owners/owner representatives, members of the Planning Commission, <br /> and the project team (staff and consultants).The format of the meeting was similar to that of the <br /> first community meeting: a presentation by the project team,followed by small-group discussion, <br /> and concluding with convening as a large group to listen to the feedback from all small groups. <br /> Comments provided by participants were varied and included the following themes: <br /> • Open space should be of adequate size and provide for a variety of function,from <br /> unprogrammed relaxation and people-watching space to informal activities <br />
