Staff believes that extending the <br /> grant program deadlines through June 2024 will provide additional opportunity for <br /> businesses to plan and apply for, and construct, a parklet or outdoor dining installation, <br /> particularly during the temperate months, making them eligible for the grant <br /> reimbursement program. <br /> At its meeting on January 17, 2023, the Economic Vitality Committee received a similar <br /> recap of the City's COVID-related business support programs, and similarly <br /> recommends the extension of both grant programs to allow additional opportunity for <br /> participation.
