Standard Conditions of Approval <br />39. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL : These Conditions of Approval shall be depicted on a plan <br />sheet(s) in the submitted plans for construction . <br />(Address this condition prior to plan approval) <br />40 . ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT FEES FOR SERVICE : The Engineering Department assesses <br />fees for services including plan-check, permit issuance , and inspection according to the City 's <br />adopted Master Fee Schedule . These fees are separate and distinct from fees assessed by the <br />Community Development Department (including Planning and Building Division fees). The <br />applicant is responsible for payment of all Engineering Department fees prior to services rendered <br />or permit issuance , whichever is first. <br />(Address this condition prior to plan approval) <br />41 . CITY ENGINEER SIGNATURE BLOCK: The following signature block shall be depicted on the <br />first sheet of the plans submitted for construction: "Approval of these plans is for work within the <br />street right-of-way and public utility systems within Public Services Easements unless otherwise <br />noted . Approval of these plans does not release the developer of the responsibility for the <br />correction of mistakes , errors , or omissions contained therein . If during the course of construction <br />of the improvements public interest requires a modification or a departure from the specification <br />and details of the City of Pleasanton or these plans , the City Engineer shall have the authority to <br />require such modification or departure and to specify the manner in which same is to be made . <br />Approved as to design only based upon information submitted hereon this [DAY] of [MONTH], <br />[YEAR]. DESIGN PER CITY STANDARDS : All public improvements shall be designed in conformance <br />with the City of Pleasanton Municipal Code and the City 's adopted Standard Specifications and <br />Details in effect at the time of issuance of the permit(s). CLEAN WATER PROGRAM (LARGE PROJECTS): Because the project creates and/or replaces <br />more than 10 ,000 square feet (0 .23 acres) of impervious surface, it is considered a Regulated <br />Project according to Provision C .3 .b of the Municipal Regional Stormwater NPDES Permit that <br />regulates stormwater runoff in Alameda County . The Alameda Countywide Clean Water Program <br />developed a C .3 Guidance Manual to assist applicants in addressing these regulations . The <br />Guidance Manual is available for download at: <br />https ://www. cleanwaterprogram . erg/businesses/development. htm I <br />Regulated projects must include stormwater treatment measures in the site design to <br />remove pollutants from stormwater upstream of any connection to the City 's or Alameda County 's <br />stormwater conveyance networks . In addition, regulated projects must be subject to a <br />Stormwater Treatment Measure Maintenance Agreement between the City and property owner to <br />assure long-term maintenance of the installed measures. The City will provide a template <br />agreement.
