The NOP and copies of comments received <br />are included as Appendix A to the Draft Program EIR. A scoping meeting was held during the review <br />period on April 13, 2022, at the Planning Commission located at 200 Old Bernal Avenue. The meeting <br />was held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., during which individuals and organizations and agency <br />representatives were invited to provide oral comments on the Draft Program EIR for the Housing <br />Element Update. <br />After the close of the 30-day review period, the City directed the preparation of a Draft EIR to <br />address the Housing Element Update’s environmental impacts. The Draft Program EIR was circulated <br />for a public review period between October 20, 2022 and December 5, 2022 (45-day review period). <br />The Draft Program EIR was publicly available in printed form at the Planning Division, located at 200 <br />Old Bernal Avenue, and the Pleasanton Public Library, located at 400 Old Bernal Avenue. In addition, <br />the Draft Program EIR was available electronically on the project website, <br />https://www.pleasantonhousingelement.com/, during the public review period. <br />During the public review period, a public meeting was held on November 9, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., at <br />the Planning Commission Meeting. The meeting was held at City Council Chamber, located at 200 <br />Old Bernal Avenue, via video/teleconference and was broadcast live at <br />https://www.youtube.com/user/TheCityofPleasanton, during which individuals, organizations, and <br />agency representatives were invited to provide oral comments on the Draft Program EIR. <br />During the Draft Program EIR public review period, the City received seven comment letters on the <br />Draft Program EIR from agencies, organizations, and individuals through written correspondence and <br />emails. Pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15088, the City, as Lead Agency, reviewed all <br />comments received during the review period for the Draft Program EIR and responded to each <br />comment.
