Objective Design Standards for Housing Sites <br />City of Pleasanton - 14 - DRAFT: January 4, 2023 <br /> <br /> <br />h. Maximum Height: 30 feet max. , as measured per Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code, except as per individual site development standards, or per <br />AB 2923. <br />i. Parking Minimums: Parking minimums to be regulated per PMC <br />chapter 18.88 <br />j. Residential/Bike Storage: Each unit shall be provided a minimum of 130 <br />cubic feet of enclosed, secured storage space. Storage space shall be located <br />outside of the associated unit. Storage space shall be allowed within the garage <br />serving the unit, but storage is not required to be adjacent to the associated unit. <br />Required bicycle storage shall be allowed to be located within the required <br />residential storage. <br /> <br />2. Designated Sites less than three acres in net area <br />a. Lot Coverage: Each designated Housing Site shall maintain a maximum <br />building coverage of 40%. Where Housing Sites are divided among multiple <br />owners, parcels, or developments, Lot Coverage shall be averaged across the <br />Housing Site. Subdivisions shall follow the lot coverage requirements as <br />specified in the Pleasanton Subdivision Standards. <br />b. Open Space: Multifamily uses shall provide a total of 240 square feet per unit <br />of Open Space cumulative of Group Usable Open Space and Private Open <br />Space <br />i. Group Usable Open Space: A minimum of 200 square feet per unit <br />of Group Useable Open Space is required for all multifamily <br />occupancies in compliance with required dimensions and quantities per <br />Standard A8.2. <br />ii. Private Open Spaces: Private Open Spaces are associated with <br />individual units and are not required. Where provided, such space in the <br />form of individual unit terraces, stoops, porches or balconies shall be <br />directly connected and accessible from each dwelling unit and shall be <br />allowed to be deducted from the required Group Useable Open Space to <br />a maximum deduction of 20%. . <br />3.
