- 2 -
159735382.2
Row #
from
original
matrix
August 2021 ODS Standard and
SPG Comment
December 2022 ODS
Standard
PART 2: PUD REGULATIONS (pages 9-10)
9. Residential/Bike
Storage:
Each unit shall be provided a
minimum of 250 cubic feet of
enclosed secured storage space.
Storage space shall be located
outside of the associated unit but
does not need to be adjacent to unit.
Bicycle storage required can be
combined with the required
residential storage.
Modify. The amount of square footage
per unit is higher than the industry
standard for high-density development.
Projects cannot fit on their sites if
additional space must be devoted to
storage. SPG is calculating the average
amount of storge per unit for this project
and will provide that information when
available.
No substantive change. (Page
7)
PART 3: A. SITE DESIGN AND PLANNING
A1. Site Circulation –Design Standards (p. 14)
11 A1.2 Alleys and parking areas should not
be used for primary circulation to the
building entries and through the site.
If individual unit entries are provided,
a maximum of 25 percent of unit
entries in each building shall be
allowed to front Alleys and Parking
Areas in each project.
Modify. Alleys are often used for primary
circulation in high-density projects.If
Alleys could not be used for primary
circulation, then substantially more land
would be required to develop internal
streets with sidewalks and street trees,
which would increase costs substantially.
No substantive change.
(A1.2, p. 12)
Exhibit D - ODS Public Comments - 01-11-23 PC - Page 41
