DRAFT RESOLUTION NO. PC-2023-3 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVE AMENDMENTS TO THE <br />GENERAL PLAN CONSISTENT WITH THE 6TH CYCLE HOUSING ELEMENT (P21-0751) <br />AND STONERIDGE MALL FRAMEWORK (P22-0969) <br />WHEREAS, on January 11, 2023, the Planning Commission held a properly noticed public <br />hearing to review the Stoneridge Mall Framework (P22-0969) and 2023-2031 (6th <br />Cycle) Housing Element Update (P21-0751); and <br />WHEREAS, consistent with review and recommendations made related to P22-0969 and <br />P21-0571, the Planning Commission reviewed corresponding amendments to the <br />text and land use map of the General Plan Land Use Element; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed and recommended certification of the <br />proposed Environmental Impact Report prepared for the 6th Cycle Housing <br />Element, with which the proposed General Plan amendments would conform and <br />are thus within the scope of the EIR analysis. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton, based on the entire record of proceedings, including the oral and written staff <br />reports and all public comment and testimony: <br />Section 1: Recommends that the City Council approve General Plan amendments to the <br />Land Use Element as shown in Attachment 1. <br />Section 2.
