F-8 | City of Pleasanton Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing <br />• Key Existing Ordinances to Increase Affordable Development and Prevent <br />Displacement (for a complete list of policies, programs, and incentives, see <br />Appendix D) <br />o Inclusionary Housing Ordinance for residential developments of 15 or more units <br />(Municipal Code Chapter 17.44) <br />o Require affordable housing fees (Municipal Code Chapter 17.40) <br />o Condo Conversion Ordinance (Municipal Code Chapter 17.04) <br />o Density Bonus Ordinance (Municipal Code Chapter 17.38) <br />F.2.3 Alameda County Fair Housing <br />The Alameda County Regional Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice (Alameda County <br />AI), released in January 2020, examines contributing factors to fair housing across the region, <br />including Pleasanton. The Alameda County AI included outreach, includes goals and priorities for <br />the region, and identifies existing actions, among other analyses. The Alameda County AI is <br />included as Attachment 3. <br />Section F.3 Public Participation <br />F.3.1 Housing Element Public Participation <br />Detailed information about Housing Element Update public participation is detailed in Section 1.E <br />and Appendix E. Highlights include: <br />• Three community meetings <br />• Two community surveys <br />• Three stakeholder group meetings (housing developers, community and housing <br />advocates, and local intuitions and businesses) <br />• Over 20 public hearings <br />• Maintained a project website specifically for the Housing Element update, available in <br />multiple languages <br />• Tabled a booth at Farmers Market <br />• Citywide utility bill inserts with project information to all utility customers in the City <br />• Various city newsletter articles, local newspaper notices, and social media posts (e.g., <br />NextDoor, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) throughout the project
