FOURTH AMENDMENT TO EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT CITY ATTORNEY <br /> This Fourth Amendment to Employment Contact City Attorney ("Fourth <br /> Amendment") is entered into December 20, 2022, between the City of Pleasanton and <br /> Daniel Sodergren. <br /> WHEREAS, Daniel Sodergren has served as City Attorney since May 2016 <br /> pursuant to an Employment Contract City Attorney dated April 19, 2016, as amended by <br /> the First Amendment dated April 19, 2017, the Second Amendment dated August 20, <br /> 2019, and the Third Amendment dated November 2, 2021 (collectively the Contract); <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have undertaken their annual review of his <br /> performance as provided in the Contract, noting completion of City Council Priorities, <br /> complex litigation, and management of regular legal issues facing the City; and <br /> compared his compensation with other similarly situated and experienced professionals. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises expressed in this <br /> Fourth Amendment, the parties agree as follows: <br /> A. Section 3. Compensation of the Contract is amended to provide for an annual <br /> salary of $264,600 effective as of the date of this Fourth Amendment. <br /> B.
