FIRST AMENDMENT TO EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT CITY MANAGER <br /> This First Amendment to Employment Contact City Manager (`First Amendment") <br /> is entered into December 20, 2022, between the City of Pleasanton and Gerry Beaudin. <br /> WHEREAS, Gerry Beaudin serves as City Manager pursuant to an Employment <br /> Contract City Manager dated April 19, 2022, (the Contract); <br /> WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have undertaken their six-month review of <br /> his performance as provided in the Contract, noting completion of City Council Priorities, <br /> management of hundreds of staff, hiring new department heads, facilitating many <br /> capital improvement projects, smooth delivery of day-to-day services and superior <br /> operations of the City, and compared his compensation with other similarly situated and <br /> experienced city managers. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises expressed in this <br /> First Amendment, the parties agree as follows: <br /> A. Section 4. Compensation of the Contract is amended to provide that the annual <br /> salary shall be $294,000 effective as of the date of this First Amendment. <br /> B.
