CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br /> November 1, 2022 <br /> This meeting was conducted in accordance with Governor Newsom's <br /> Executive Order N-29-20 and AB 361 COVID-19 pandemic protocols. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Brown called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. from the <br /> Council Chamber located at 200 Old Bernal Avenue and via Zoom. <br /> Councilmember Arkin led the Pledge of Allegiance and provided opening remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Narum, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Absent: None <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS — None. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Councilmember Arkin requested to pull item 2 for further discussion. Item 2 was moved to item 16 on <br /> the agenda. <br /> City Attorney <br /> 1. Adopt a resolution amending the local Conflict of Interest Code and updating the list of designated <br /> positions required to file Statements of Economic Interests <br /> Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. 22-1329. <br /> 2. Pulled for further discussion (moved to item 16) Continued from October 18, 2022 — Introduce <br /> and waive the first reading of an Ordinance amending Section 2.04.020 of the Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code concerning councilmember salaries <br /> City Manager <br /> 3. Approve meeting minutes of May 3, May 17, May 24, and May 31, 2022 <br /> Recommendation: Approve the minutes. <br /> Community Development <br /> 4. Public Hearing —Adopt and waive second reading of Ordinance No. 2241 to amend Title 20 <br /> and Title 18 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code to adopt by reference the 2022 Edition of the <br /> California Code of Regulations Title 24, including the 2021 International Building, Existing <br /> Building, Residential, Fire, Property Maintenance, and Swimming Pool and Spa Codes; the 2021 <br /> Uniform Plumbing and Mechanical Codes; the 2020 National Electrical Code and the 2022 <br /> California Green Building Standards Code; with local amendments including provisions of Reach <br /> Code <br /> Recommendation: Adopt and waive the full reading of Ordinance No. 2241. <br />
