Form, Proportion, and Scale <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Design Standards <br />Multifamily Development <br />B7.1 Buildings shall provide a Significant Architectural Element at any of the following: <br />a. Where located at the corner of two Public Streets. <br />b. Where located at the terminating end of a paseo that connects to adjacent properties. <br />c. Where located fronting on a designated open space greater than 5,000 square feet in area. <br />d. Where located at the terminating end of a view corridor extending greater than 1,000 feet beyond the <br />limits of the project; parallel to a public right-of-way; and framed by buildings no less than three stories <br />in height. <br />B7.2 Significant Architectural Elements shall be limited to the following: <br />a. A tower or other projecting building mass including a parapet no less than four feet taller than <br />surrounding elements. <br />b. A building stepback located at the corner of the uppermost floor with a minimum dimension of 25 feet. <br />c. A porch, colonnade, or open terrace with a minimum area of 200 square feet. <br />d. A roof terrace expressed on the facade of the building with a minimum dimension of 50 feet. <br />e. An increased corner building setback to enable a minimum 400-square-foot publicly accessible plaza <br />with a minimum dimension of 15 feet. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
