RESOLUTION NO. 22-1337 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> AUTHORIZING CITY COUNCILMEMBERS' ELIGIBILITY FOR CERTAIN HEALTH AND <br /> WELFARE BENEFITS <br /> WHEREAS, state law allows the City to provide the City Council with health and welfare <br /> benefits of the same type provided to City employees (Government Code, sections 36516(d), <br /> 53205, and 53201(a))-, and <br /> WHEREAS. this Resolution supersedes and rescinds Resolution No. 89-493. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. Resolution No. 89-493 is rescinded. <br /> SECTION 2. City Councilmembers shall be eligible to receive the same health and <br /> welfare benefits as Management and Confidential employees of the City. <br /> SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> SECTION 4.
