Resolution No. 04-072 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council held a public heating on September 21, 2004, at which <br />time members of the public were offered an opportunity to comment on this <br />matter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />after a review of the materials presented, the City Council determined that <br />the adoption of the Downtown Design Guidelines is timely and would help <br />inform and provide direction and assistance to those proposing building <br />projects, signs, and other improvements in the Downtown. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />Approves the Downtown Design Guidelines for the commercial and <br />residential portions of Downtown Pleasanton. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />FLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 21, 2004 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: Mayor Pico <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Ayala, Brozosky, Campbell, and, Hosterman <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Michael H.
