Task 2.0: DEVELOPMENT OF A DEDICATED DEI LEADERSHIP ROLE <br /> 2.1 DEI Officer as a Managed Service (Contingent on number of days, hours, and FTE desired) <br /> MGT will provide the services of a Chief Equity Officer for the City of Pleasanton on a monthly basis until <br /> a full-time leader begins work and for 30-60 days thereafter to ensure continuity and a seamless <br /> transition. This will be conducted through both on-site and remote means, carrying out the typical duties <br /> of a Chief Equity Officer for a public sector organization. Through this work, you will receive expert <br /> leadership to support decisions, leadership development, and the culture of the organization to ensure <br /> that all internal and external communication and actions are conducted with an equity lens. <br /> DELIVERABLE <br /> • Execution of a DEI leadership functions <br /> 2.2 Development of DEI Leadership Position ($9,500) <br /> MGT will conduct market analysis of peers and industry-leading best practice to determine the ideal title, <br /> duties, and compensation for an executive leadership role that is dedicated to DEI. We will create a <br /> Pleasanton-specific job description and provide guidance for recruitment and selection practices as well <br /> as participate in the hiring process. <br /> DELIVERABLES <br /> • Market analysis of similar position in peer organizations <br /> • Job Description <br /> • Recommended job-specific interview questions <br /> Task 3.0: ORGANIZATIONAL DEI ASSESSMENT <br /> MGT will conduct an internal audit of the organization to determine strengths, weaknesses, DEI <br /> understanding, and readiness to embrace and infuse DEI through all levels of the organization's structure <br /> and operations.This will involve an analysis of quantitative and qualitative data and other information to <br /> ensure a comprehensive understanding of the state of the organization related to equity. <br /> 3.1 Analysis of Organizational Data, Policy, and Practice ($39,000) <br /> MGT will work with Pleasanton's project leadership to establish a comprehensive list of data, documents, <br /> policies, and practices to be included in the equity audit.
