Review and approve the draft All-Abilities Playground Master Plan, CIP No. 20773, and provide <br /> direction to staff on whether to proceed further with the design or pause until construction funding <br /> is identified <br /> Assistant Director of Library and Recreation Michele Crose detailed the forthcoming presentation about <br /> the proposed All-Abilities Playground at Ken Mercer Sports Park, including its design and <br /> recommendations from the Parks and Recreation Commission. <br /> Richmond Rossi Montgomery (RRM) Design Group Landscape Architect Gina Chavez reviewed the <br /> outreach survey informing the design by determining the community's preferences for the 2.5-acre site. <br /> She reviewed renderings of Concept 1 "Rise" and Concept 2 "Pride." She reported there was an even <br /> split among public feedback on the two concepts with a slight preference for Concept 1. Preferred <br />
