11.36.220 <br /> 313 (Pleasanton Supp. No. 28, 7-22) <br />Sundays and holidays for a period of time longer than <br />three hours. <br /> E. Four-Hour Parking. When authorized signs <br />are in place giving notice thereof, no person shall park a <br />vehicle between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. <br />of any day for a period of time longer than four hours. <br />(Ord. 1991 § 1, 2009; Ord. 1722 § 1, 1997; prior code § <br />5-3.51) <br /> <br />11.36.220 Diagonal parking. <br /> Whenever any resolution designates any street or <br />portion thereof as a diagonal parking zone, the city traf- <br />fic engineer shall erect and maintain appropriate signs or <br />pavement markings. It shall be unlawful for the operator <br />of any vehicle to park the vehicle except: <br /> A. At the angle to the curb indicated by signs or <br />pavement markings allotting space to parked vehicles <br />and entirely within the limits of the allotted space; <br /> B. With the front wheel nearest the curb within <br />six inches of the curb. (Prior code § 5-3.55) <br /> <br />11.36.230 Reserved parking for charging electric <br />vehicles. <br /> A. The city traffic engineer is authorized to <br />designate, by the installation of signs posted in compli- <br />ance with Section 22511 of the California Vehicle Code, <br />parking spaces for the exclusive use of electric vehicles <br />that are connected to electric charging stations for the <br />purpose of transfer of electricity to the battery or other <br />energy storage device of an electric vehicle. <br /> B. An owner or person in lawful possession of <br />an off-street parking facility is authorized to designate, <br />by the installation of signs posted in compliance with <br />Section 22511 of the California Vehicle Code, parking <br />spaces for the exclusive use of electric vehicles that are <br />connected to electric charging stations for the purpose of <br />transfer of electricity to the battery or other energy stor- <br />age device of an electric vehicle. <br /> C. Where a sign designating a parking space <br />for the exclusive use of charging electric vehicles is <br />posted in compliance with Section 22511 of the Califor- <br />nia Vehicle Code, no person shall park in that space any <br />nonelectric vehicle, electrical vehicle that is not con- <br />nected to the electric charging station, electric vehicle <br />that is not charging, or electric vehicle that has been <br />charging for more than four hours.
