CONSTRUCTION INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $287,000 FOR CALLIPPE PRESERVE GOLF COURSE BUNKER RENOVATIONS SUMMARY Callippe Preserve Golf Course opened in November 2005 and course improvements are regularly planned to maintain the challenging course design, enhance player experience, address wear and tear on heavily used areas of the course, and to address any maintenance issues. City staff and the course operator, CourseCo, have designed a multi-year bunker improvement plan that includes renovation everyotheryear of several bunkers of the course's 58 bunkers. The project identified includes seven complete bunker renovations. D.H.R. Construction performed bunker renovations in 2017 and 2019 and is the only contractor that is qualified to perform the renovations according to City standards and specifications. RECOMMENDATION Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with D.H.R. Construction Inc.,forthe Callippe Preserve Golf Course bunker renovations fora not -to - exceed amountof $287,000, which includes a 10 percent contingency. FINANCIAL STATEMENT Funding forthis project is allocated in the Golf Operations and Golf Course Repair and Replacement Funds. The total cost of the construction renovations isfora not -to - exceed amountof $287,000. This amountincludes a 10 percent contingencyfor unforeseen circumstances and related extra services as determined to be necessaryby the City.
